Mark Waldrop is a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience working as a mental health and substance abuse counselor. He is experienced with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Existential Theory frameworks with individuals, couples, groups, and families. He has experience working with clients suffering from depression, anxiety, phobic disorders, bipolar disorders, and grief related disorders. He has assisted his clients to manage relationship struggles arising from codependency, personality disorders, divorce, loss, and LGBTQIA+ acceptance. His specialties are assisting individuals with the adjustment to life following loss and managing anxiety through mindfulness.
Mark has been exclusively seeing his clients via video counseling since 2018. Video counseling is an effective and convenient way for clients and therapists to participate together in psychotherapy. This modality allows for sessions in the privacy and comfort of your home, private work office, or reserved meeting room. This modality is great for those with busy schedules or those with difficulty leaving home due to childcare, physical pain/illness, transportation challenges, or other issues.
If you have a device with a camera and microphone such as a computer with a webcam, laptop, tablet, or phone that has the capability to stream a video platform (such as Netflix or Amazon video), then you have all the equipment that you need for video counseling.
If you would like to see if Mark and video counseling are a good fit for you, please reach out to Mark to schedule a ten minute initial consultation at no charge.
